This 14-day curriculum unit supplements student reading of Art Spiegelman’s graphic novel, “Maus.”

Lesson One is an introduction to the Holocaust through key terms and a timeline walkthrough. Lesson Two introduces the style of the graphic novel. Lessons Three through Thirteen are dedicated to each chapter of the book. Provided discussion guidelines and activities are adaptable to different educator’s classroom needs. The final lesson is a reflection.
