ARTLC AAPI Curriculum Resources database

This resource guide streamlines materials from across all subject areas and grade levels for teaching the broad fields of Asian American Studies and Pacific Islander Studies through an anti-racist, relational framework. It is searchable through a table of contents that includes full curriculum units, standalone lesson, multimedia and additional resources.

The resource guide serves as an entry point into a larger ARTLC Asian American and Pacific Islander Curriculum Resources database. This is an ongoing and collaborative list of curriculum units, lesson plans, multimedia resources, events, and other materials that fall under AAPI Studies.

The database not only centralizes AAPI resources but also reveals visible gaps in existing resources and the work that needs to be done. Where possible, lesson items have been matched to Common Core ELA and states' Department of Education standards. The spreadsheet is searchable by standards, keywords, and grade level for teacher convenience.

Both of these are working documents. If you have suggestions, comments, or materials to contribute—or if you’re a tech wizard and interested in helping to bring this to web form—please contact Jason Lee (jason.lee@yale.edu) and Isabella Zou (isabella.zou@yale.edu).
